take the rifles outside and get some more natural light on them.  Even the shittiest digicam takes at least passable pics in natural light.

It's a good start.  Now you need to try to find one constant background (advanced photog will be using dissimilar backgrounds with the same grey-scale).  See how the white siding in the pic washes out, the bricks look normal, and the grass just generally gets in the way?  See how the background in this pic is more consistant?

But, you do get a half a point for not just laying it on the carpet and taking a pic.  I'm sure there's something else in your yard that you can use as a backdrop, whether it be a woodpile or whatever.

Geez, I though the rifles stocks were resting against the side of a grassy hill and the barrels suspended with fishing string.

The difference between natural lighting and indoor is always massive.  Much better in the second version, thankyou.  As far as that being a HK mag, we are going to have to take your word for it....

Don't feel bad, I don't have any software, my camera is nothing special, and I take most of my pictures in my garage, so I feel your pain.....

How much are you looking to spend on your rail setup?

For $200, I would go with a YHM or the other new one that is out, and get a TD VFG.

Take a look at the picture I posted a few replies up....  KAC covers and the rail is flush with the upper receiver....  at under $200 for everything (rails, cover and grip).

You were thinking $200 for the KAC system?

Inspector, it is quite possible.
I've bought KAC RAS/RISs off the EE for $200 complete with rail covers,
and will continue to seek out KAC EE Deals for my future builds.
