Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - high rise upper with offset sights

I have a dpms high rise upper.  i want to add offset back up irons, but what size riser do i need to buy for the gas block, as its shorter than the back of the reciever, where my scope is mounted. Or how should i measure it to buy the correct riser.  and if anyone has any suggestions on offset sights im open for idears?   what about flip up back up offset irons?     thanks
