I have a bushmaster A3 freefloat flat top with an aluminum handgaurd.  I originally acquired the beauty for precision shooting.  However just recently I discovered the thrill of spending a 30 round clip in 5-6 seconds.  One problem--the aluminum transmits the heat, making the handgaurd unable to hold.  How do I swith handgaurds, and any recommendations on which one?

I'm also curious about this subject. I have an upper half w/16'bbl and free float tube and I bought an M-4 handguard from CDNN for $20 in my last order from them. I have a feeling the tools needed would make the switch too expensive.
