im thinking of picking up some reloded ammo at a local gunshow from a guy that ive heard good things about from other shooters. last gunshow he was selling his 55gr reloads (with lake city brass) for $125/1000 including the ammo can. Seemed reasonable...as long as it was decent ammo.

Anyone else had good luck with someone else's reloads ? im too lazy to get into reloading

Lets see, LC brass, 55gr, and who knows how much of what powder, HMMMMMMMMMMM.......

Buy new or load your own. The only new ammo I mostly use is 3131A, very little surplus, 95% of my 223/556 is loaded by me.

The only reloads I trust are my own, aside from commercially remanufactured ammo like Black Hills.

While this person may have a good reputation it only takes a single screwup for you to lose an eye-or worse.

I go with what CJan_NH said, 100%! There are only a couple of places that manufacture reloads that I would trust, Black Hills is one of them.

Just say NO to No Name reloads!
