i guess if your cqb then you would want a eotech but for long range guaranteed shot you want a scope, correct?

Not nessesarily. I use a 1-4x20 leupold. I can do the CQB thing or the 300 yards thing. 95% of the shooting I do is at the 1 power setting. But it's nice to be able to pop the power up when I want to only take one shot at a small target.

i guess i get both, may go shooting with a friend someday in  AK, been told you might want a something fast and hard if you stumble across  a bear and her cubs i know i cant run as fast as i used too
