I don't know if it matters, as I haven't had mine underwater, but I've had my 512 out in some fairly heavy rain, and it didn't have any problems, and hasn't since.

About the same. If your not going with NV then get the 512 (you won't know the difference). C4 www.GRTactical.com |

If you're not going NV, go 512. I kicked the same idea around before I got one and decided that I was just plain not gonna need the NV settings and the corresponding $60 or more price tag.
I love my 512 and I might get another in the next couple months. WIZZO |
