8.1lb empty weight? It looks like they are definitely going for the three-gun market with the angled rail on the upper receiver; but I probably wouldn't choose many of those features. I can't imagine why a bull barrel profile is necessary, especially with that stock. That is going to be one nose-heavy, slow-handling rifle.

They really humped the bunk on this one. They should have put their new 6-rail forend on the the thing to match the upper reciever, as well as a quad rail gas block
