seems like i've heard or read this somewhere before, but it seems all i read lately, that stag and cmt is the same. ihave a RRA lower and want to know what my options are for a finish match(other than RRA)

Stag and CMT are the same.  FWIW my RRA lower serial # starts with CM.

And so are current Century pieces.  For all I know there are other brands out there also then Conti makes. Basically, if the serial # starts w/CM t's Conti made.

That being said, that it's made by the same outfit does  NOT guarantee a perfect color match. There are inevietable differences in shade from batch to batch, and the two Conti uppers I have, made 3 years apart are only so so color matches for the two Conti built (one Rock River, one Century)lowers they are mounted on.
