Never had a problem with either of my 2 lowers and any of my 15 or so gen 2's in both 20 and 30 rd.

My two POF lowers won't accept the pmags I have but my LM&T will.

My Daniel Defense will drop Gen 1 20 rounders and Gen 2 30 rounders but Gen 3 30 rounders have to be pulled.
To me there is an advantage to both ways. |

The one lower that did not easily drop PMags.....I hit the out of spec areas inside the magwell with some light file work. Yes, using only USGI mags was an option, but problem fixed. Its a working tool and now it eats all magazines I own.

Bushmaster: yes m2 & m3
Colt: yes m2& m3 Engage armament billet lower: m2 &m3 Funny thing is I have 1 or 2 beat to hell usgi mags that drop free in the Bushy but not the Colt. Go figure. I would have tossed them but they still work in the bushmaster. Guess I got lucky with the pmags. |

Out of Stag, DPMS, Ameetec, SLR15, and AGP all Gen 2&3 drop free. Gen 1 won't drop free in the Stag but takes minimal tap and they fall out.

Gen 2 and earlier PMags all drop free from my LWRC, BM, and Tactical Innovations lowers. I'm holding out on buying any Gen 3 mags until the start doing FDE.

CMMG lower yes, Doublestar lower needed some massaging with a flat file.

CMMG lower, Serial number SA14XXX
Gen 1 - all 10 30-rounders and both 20-rounders dropped free fine Gen 2 - 3 30's would drop free, 3 needed light sanding, 4 wouldn't drop free after sanding a lot. No gen 2 20's were made, to my knowledge. Gen 3 - 2 20's, both drop free perfectly. Still saving up money for more G3 30's. I'm gonna be mad if they don't drop free. |

I only have one AR, a Colt. All my Pmags (16 30 rd, 2 40 rd, 2 20 rd, and 1 10 rd) insert and drop freely. My 30 rd Pmags are Gen 3 (12) and Gen 2 (4).

Yes, I have 20 something Gen 1 and Gen 2 and all drop in my 5 ARs (Colt, ASA, Spikes, DSA x2). Only mags I've ever had issues with not dropping freely were aluminums with bad spot welds.

Gen 3 in my Bushmaster drop free just fine, as do G.I.
Gen 3 in my son's Troy drop free just fine but it will not drop any of the 20+ G.I. mags we've tried... His is an early milled lower... Troy Battlemags are GTG in both rifles as well... Never tried earlier generations of PMAGs. 1DD |

Yes gen 2 pmags out of my rra lower. Had an r guns lowere that would not drop free anything. I don't have that lower any more. Also had a delaware machinery lower that drop free gen 2 pmags.
