My question is this, I just purchased a new spring package and the disconnector spring is a third longer than the the one I'm replacing. Could this be do to wear and is this why I was getting double shots or are there different length diconnector springs? Dano had suggested checking the spring but this is the first time I had a chance to compare it to another spring.

P.S. I know it's the disconnector spring because of the one fat end.

You are correct in assuming that the free length of the spring has shortened due to wear.

I have experienced the same problem with doubles that quickley turned to full-auto.
