I'm considering getting an AR. I really like the ability to shoot .308 when I want to. So I'm thinking RRA AR-10 when it comes out. But I'd like to be able to use this rifle for coyotes so I could put a 243 upper on it. What about plinking or ground hogs? Is the 243 the smallest caliber lower I can put on an AR-10. Is there no way to put a .223 upper on a ar-10 lower?? No one makes .223 mags that fit into a .308 magwell?

No one makes .223 anything for the AR-10 or SR-25 platform....

IIRC .243 or .270 would be as small as the '10 goes...
