Is the only difference the variable gain?
Is it the same tube?
can it be converted from 6015 to 14?
ave cost of the two?
what is the benefit of having the variable gain?

the info I was given is the variable gain is useful in urban enviroments in order to see into the shadows around bright light sources.

I'm sure there are other differences in the housing as well.  I would contact vic.

I was told when we got ours that the only difference was the variable gain.  We got the 6015's (12 of them) and we've been real happy with them.  If you never use the variable gain, you don't miss it.
