I have many scopes and just wondering if thisis worth the 807 CS is asking for it?

I am not wondering if this is the BEST scope for 800 bucks, I am wondering if this is the best value for 800 bucks in the tactical low-magnification area?

I own the 3x amber cross hair unit.  I bought it back when they were "affordable".  For $800.00 I would consider aquiring a TAO1.  That said, I am happy with my mini- ACOG.  The mini weighs less if that's important to you?  For a hundred more bucks or so, you could have a TA31?  I suppose this post hasn't helped you has it?  I am assuming you have a carry handle and not a flat top.

Regards,
Gary

you're right on ALL counts.  That didn't help.

I have a ta11D, the ta01nsn, tripower, holosight, jpoint, ior 1.1-4x, BTW.

I've been through many scopes - I don't even know WHERE I'd put a compact ACOG, but the price is nice and its a packaged with larue mount and killflash.....

I hear problems with objective size, e.g. looking through a straw... but those look like quick reticles and perfect magnification levels.

I have a 3x model with red crosshairs, and I LOVE it. Eye relief is a bit short, but my M93 stock adjusts for that. Here is an old pic.

I just bought a 2x20 and it looks freakin sweet.  Can't wait to get my upper back so I can mount it and put it to work...

+1!

TA50-R4
I call it my FRO scope because when I saw his reticle photos in the famous thread, I just had to have one with red crosshairs for my airsoft collection.

$800?
I didn't know the compacts went up in price too like the big Acogs did since the war started.  I was going to sell it or the TA01-NSN in the background, but maybe I'll keep the compact now.   I have a SN-4 on the way for a new project and desperately need some money!

You got an SN4?  Hope you like lugging a heavy rifle  I had one just because I wanted something different than an ACOG.  I traded it for an SN3, and got a TA31
