i'm new to the board and it seams that some seem to think colt ar's are the top dog they are not the best in my openion i have had them all and i think double star are great and armlight is the best of the bunch

I have an armalite M15A4 and can drive tacks with it. I could not be happier with any other brand.

My own preference is for Colts. Having said that, I don't give a rodent's rectum what somebody else wants to shoot.

i heve had colts thay were not up to pare didnt function and shoot strait and i'm a very good shooter

I've heard that's usually caused by a problem with the trigger actuating nut.

I like Colt products but I think their policies and the attitudes some of the owners have really suck.

I think most of the big name brands are good. I guess I better put on my nomex undies for saying that though.

I'm glad you like your doublestar. Since you built like 26 rifles, you probably dont shoot each one enough to find flaws

Those of us that shoot one rifle, a lot, tend to break things.

On the Colt thing - this IS AR15.com and Colt is the only manufacturer that makes a rifle that says AR15 on the side of it

I've have/had three different brands. Colt, RRA and Bushmaster.

All three worked flawlessly. They look great and are all evil.
