I was in the market for one myself, but will have to wait. The cheapest I've seen anywhere today was $1595!

Glad I got mine when I did. Mine's a shooter, though, so I'm not too worried about the prices and collectability.

Gundealer3 on the EE has them for $1,100 plus shipping (about $25) I got mine from him, and he is completely legit and responsible....... My dealer buddy found me one for 1295.00. I told him I would just wait untill they were back down to 899.00.

I bought mine the week before the ban for 855.00, it doesn't lool like they'll be back at that price as the distributor's are currently selling them for near 900.00 now and evryone else is tacking on their share. Good luck if I see any deals I'll pass them on.

Are they selling them right now? I heard they they were not selling to dealers who were reselling to the public,,,,,who nows? I sent them an email and as usual, I am still waiting on an ansewr several days later. |

Well this clairifies the question that was the mainstay in the months before the AWB's death, "How much will pre-bans be after the ban?" When the no-bans are as much as the pre-bans during the ban, I feel pretty good for picking up a NIB 6520 for $1500 in the middle of the ban, and I had the joy of shooting it during the silly AWB. I may have paid a tad too much but it is still a bit of a collector's model as a green boxed Colt marked "AR-15 Government Carbine." As to the no-bans going for anything over list, well that's one that I'll wait out.

Prior to the end of the ban, Ken said he would sell LE guns to civvy's regardless of what Colt thought. He apparently has 55 still in stock. If they haven't responded to your email yet, give Tina a call. |
