i am told that the new Colt 2nd gen. collapsing stocks are marked with a N in front of the latch and a 1 behind the latch to identify the stock as Colt but my new Colt 6920 and 6520 dont have thies marks? can anybody confirm this is how colt stocks are identified. i am thinking that if the marks are missing that they might be from Colts new acquistion of Diemco (spelling ?) and be one of their stocks.
Any ideas?

2nd gen Colt stocks have no markings. It`s the 1st gen stocks that have the 1 N under the latch.
