I got my account now and I was going to purchase these because I have a gift certificate at Cabelas and can spend about $100.

I mainly want something to mount a VFG to, and like the look at the 4 rail handguards.

Looks for anyone who may have used them because some people are telling me not to get because of quality issues.

Also interested in experiences with these handguards.

No personal experience with them, but a quick check on search came up with 2 threads.

The YHM 2 piece would be more durable.

for another 50-60 bucks you can buy a surefire m73 rail. Spend a few more bucks and get a quality piece!

Tell him to save his $$ and buy either the YHM 2pc or the MI 2pc.

I had a vfg/light (surefire 900) on a samco that came with my rifle. One good twist and the whole thing came off. You need something more solid for anything more than maybe a flashlight mount.

the Samco's are okay for light and grips but not good for optics
