was in a local gun shop today when i noticed a stripped bushy lower for $252... assuming its not a pre-ban, doesnt that price seem steep? if it WERE a pre-ban, i would expect it to go for around $900 or so, correct?

Bushmaster lowers cost a lot more than from most others. Check out these prices: lower w/o stock and stripped lower. A complete Eagle arms receiver with parts and buttstock can be had for $70 less than a Bushmaster lower with parts and buttstock. The gunshop did mark it up a lot, but the gunshops in my neck of the woods do that too. A complete Bushy rifle in my local gunshop is a bout $1200, which is over $200 more than the retail price listed on the Bushmaster website. It's not uncommon, not fair either, but not uncommon.
