went shooting today and noticed that my magnifier looked funny and when I really got to examining it, it looks like almost a perfect 180 degrees of the lense is a darker tint than the other half.

anybody ever seen anything like that?

I'm going to try and get a pic of it, i dont know if my photography skills and equipment are good enough though.

I found out what the problem is, I have a pair of prescription safety glasses that are polarized I was using yesterday and when I swap them out for my regular glasses the line goes away. bummer

Yup, polarized glasses play hell when looking at tempered glass for instance. Some clear plastics look real strange with polarized glasses too.
