What is the average "lifespan" of an AR/M16 bolt and carrier? should you replace it every few thousand rounds or are there indicators to look for? thanks

I still have the same bolt the last 6000 rounds and its still very good,my carrier is the same for the last 15000 rounds. The carrier should be good for when ever, youll replace the key and bolt many times over before you ever replace a carrier unless it breaks from a kaboom I dont think it will ever wear out.The upper would probably go before that happened.
