whats the standard barrel life on a chrome lined bbl? non chrome? will rra barrels wear faster than bushie if they are both chrome?

so its bad for barrel life if yo dont clean it? i put 1k through my old ar with no jams. that was bad for barrel life?

I doubt it.  I think you'll be fine.  Also remember, if you are not a match shooter and don't need the type of accuracy comp shooters look for, then a barrel will give you very good practical accuracy for a good long time and tens of thousands of rounds.

From my experience limited to chrome lined m16a2 rifles I could guessl ife to be 10-20000 rounds. Based on the abuse the rifles endured and the scores effectiveness of the rifles after my experience of 3 years of using the same rifle. Our equipment was very heavily used and equeally as well maintained. This is not match grade precision shooting,  I am speaking of real world man sized targets out to 500 meters.

im not interested in comp shooting. just hitting a soft ball sized target. thats all you really need to hit any way. deer, predators, enemy.
