DO NOT throw away that ammo. RETURN it to whomever you got it from with the failed case in hand. They should box up the whole batch and get Freedom Munitions to refund their AND YOUR money, along with any costs for fixing your gun (and especially any medical costs you might have incurred). Throwing it away is like saying it's OK for a company to sell bad ammunition.
On the other hand, everybody had bad boxes and bad batches. I got a box of Winchester Q3131 once that had several rounds that were physically bad - no extractor groove on one, no rim on another, etc... No idea how multiple bad rounds got in one box, but after I carefully examined the other boxes I bought at the same time and found no issues, I returned that box to the vendor and they replaced the box, no questions asked. So instead of just trashing the company, maybe you can get your money back and find out that they really aren't the devil incarnate...
