help, I installed a Jewell match trigger on my olympic arms ar15. had a lilja barrel installed too. well the bolt closes only halve way if more than one round in the magazine, so I did a function check and the bolt only closes halve way if the trigger is held back. I think the notch on the forward part of the trigger is hanging up, except when I release the trigger, the only way to get the carrier forward again is to pull the charging handle back and then it slam forward as normal. any suggestion? I sure would like to shoot more than one round at a time through it. Thanks

Also may happen if you're using an AR-15 carrier rather than an "enhanced" carrier. Hammer gets caught between the firing pin and the carrier and will cause your bolt carrier group to slow down, and possibly stop.

dano523, thanks for the link, but I got the instructions, f*cked with the trigger group many many times, tried almost all the possible adjustments, my fingers are sore from opening the upper from the lower. Caneau, can you elaborate more on the carriers? Yes I think the notch on the front of the hammer is catching on the firing pin. So what is the solution? The AR15 I have is all Olympic Arms. Except of course the jewell trigger and lilja barrel. Thanks

Thanks Dano....the firing pin collar is alittle proud. I'll take your suggestion about the drill, I have two, one stainless and the other seems to be aluminum, I'll try the aluminum one first. Post later my results.

Thanks again Dano,, I think the problem is solved. I rounded the firing pin collar as you mentioned. I increased the first stage pull by a notch. I did get some double taps with one pull of the trigger, raised some eyebrows at the range, increase the sear engagement and put 2 mags through it with no problems. ciao
