I'm trying to order a barrel from them and there doesn't seem to be any way to contact them. Their email address shows as undeliverable and there isn't a phone number. How am I supposed to get in touch?

Have you tried contacting them through IM on this site?

Industry Forum?

I always see Randall making posts here.

His username is AR15barrels.

Hope that helps.

I would NEVER give my money or my gun parts to an individual or company who would not communicate with me in a timely and professional manner.

The site sponsors have business ethics that are way beyond your average website based dealers and they are the ones who get my hard earned cash everytime.

Try Kurt at KKF, he's been know to turn a custom barrel or two (althought he's not known for his lightning fast turn around time, either).

according to the linked thread and others i've read...

he is not responding to his AR15.com forum or any of his messages... if you follow the the link to the calguns thread, he is posting about running 3-gun matches and having AK47 build parties...

randall did some barrel work for me last year and it was great... lightning fast turnaround, great communication. this summer i needed some more work done, and he didn't reply to any of my IMs, posts, etc. so i went with ADCO.

then i found all this stuff going on... and i am glad i didn't ship two colt M4A1 barrels out to california...

i hope this gets straightened out, i don't know if the mods/site staff have tried to remedy this...

+1 Randall has done great work for me in the past, however given these new problems that have cropped up, I will probably send any future work elsewhere.

Hopefully these problems get sorted out soon, as he was really good to work with when I first had him do work for me.

I recently contacted the fine folks at Teppo Jutsu and got a good response.  You can also contact White Oak Armament.  Both sources can build you a .30 HRT barrel at or about the $350-$375 mark.

Sweet I was looking at a .300-221 then I found out about .30 HRT which would basically give me a semi auto .30-30. If that isn't deer medicine I don't know what is.

I heard that he tried to become a dealer on m4carbine.net and was turned down by Grant.

Funny considering Grant claimed (at first at least) to not be in charge or a primary owner of that site? So why did he get to say or nay to Randell?

I think Grant had concerns about keeping up business ethics standards.

Why did Grant get booted from this site?

Trying to institute price fixing among AR15 EE resellers, I believe.
