Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - ar15 uppers what is the best

I have a bushmaster xm15a2 I want to put a 20 or 24 inch upper on it does any one know anything about american spirt arms they make uppers with harris or wilson barrels. Or should I stay with the bushmaster. I'm new to the ar15 and don't know alot about the good or the bad parts.

NO NO NO NO NO.  I sold my ASA upper for less than half what I paid for it because it would not function (read the other post for details).  Get a JT, they use Shaw barrels and my JT is just as accurate as my Wilson barrel on my ASA was, and the upper actually functions too.
