i noticed they sell the semi auto 16" M468 for around $26---$2700?

anyone else offer a cheaper alternative? or am i better off buying a Jarvis 6.8 upper?
how reliable is the 6.8 if shot out of the standard ar15 .223 mags?

These guys make uppers ranging from ~$1400-2000.

but with Jarvis being $700, that might be the way to go.

Any of the reputable smiths on here can build you a 6.8, the availability of barrels is pretty good really... No, the 6.8 will not work in a regular 5.56 mag, some say "it works okay" or "sorta works" but the bottom line is no, it was *never* intended to be used in that mag, some early testing was done in them because there was no other choice however...

Jarvis, PRi, Barrett, MSTN, Model1 Sales, Ameetec, DPMS.  In a issue of GWLE I have here somewhere I read that LMT and Robinson Armament also will have a 6.8SPC rifle or uppers available.
