Were there ever any 602 rifles built with MVP marked barrels ?
VP marked barrels are tough to find and expensive..
All thoughts requested !!!

Yes there were. The upper I have has an M VP 12 marked barrel and a cast front sight base.  I guess it is a late production 602 because, except for the stamped in Arrow and R above the rear sight drum, the upper receiver has the same features as a 604 upper. Like rounded (not angle cut) above the charging handle and no small hole for the end of the port door spring.

I bought my upper and barrel seperate and the upper is angle cut above the charging handle, I was assuming they made that combination in 1964
