Have any of you tried these used Orlites from CDNN?

At $10ea. they seem like a pretty killer deal for range mags if they work and are not too beat up.

Troy,

Does any certain condition (ie cold) cause them to crack? or is it just wear over time that causes it?

I'd guess that I'm getting about 10 to 20 dumps/mag before I see a crack in the feed lips. Definitely not SHTF worthy. At $5-10/per I guess they're OK range mags, otherwise a bad investment............too bad I paid around $15/per...............live and learn, eh?

A used USGI mag is better than any new Orlite. You will spend money twice. Once for the Orlites and then a second time to replace them with USGI mags. Save your money.

Even if you could be sure of 20 uses per mag it still isn't worth spending the money one them. For $15 you can get used USGI mags that will last longer then the Orlites. Like you said, live and learn.
