found a pile of .223? or 5.56? range brass last week. The headstamp has a few small numbers and the large letters T Z Z. Does anyone know where this came from?

That is IMI Israeli 5.56 brass. Very good ammo that is hard to find. Mostly sold from peoples stashes now.  I have around 3000 rounds that is not for immediate shooting. Part of my SHTF stash. Good brass.

I have a bunch of TZZ, but it's green-tip, not M193. I don't remember buying it - must've been ten years ago, but it's in bandos on strippers. I'm glad to discover it's IMI - their stuff is always good - it's a matter of survival.
