ok i see the lights, laser, and the forgrips that are added by the lower rail of the front handgaurds. how do you add the rail? i see cheaper than dirt has a rail that has no gunsmithing. does it just bolt on and then the attachments slide onto the rail? thanks mike

Thats right, you remove the hand guard and the rail has threaded holes on th back of it.
You just put the screws through the lower hand guard holes and screw the rail to it.
I have one on my 20" barreled AR and have put allsorts of things on it.
I have a bipod mounted to it at the moment. Works fine for the money.

The one thing I would warn about is weight. All of the do dad shit is great but adds alot of weight to the front end of the rifle. I would go with a GG&G UFIR or similar and keep the weight down especially on a 20" upper.
