im positive this has been beat to death, but frankly this sites search engine doesnt work. could someone give me a quick answer as to what kind of accuracy to expect? and how much tighter groups are we talking with a complete upper rather than just the bolt group? and will firing 22lr with the new bolt group in any way harm or wear the rifle in a bad way? thanks a lot.

My Ciener conversion will put out about 1.5-2" @50yds with a 1:9 barrel and cheap ammo, and perhaps a little better with more expensive stuff.
My Spikes ST-22 upper averages about .75-1.0" @50 with the same ammo. Its also much cleaner to run, mainly due to the lack of gas tube and because the nickle plated bolt doesn't need lube.
