its gonna be my first AR, and i'm not putting any magnifying optics on it (eotech only)

just curious what the experts know about a 1/7 twist with the 14.5+ (16") barrel, etc.

alternatively, if you guys could throw in some numbers of what distance you shoot w/ which style gun, i'd appreciate it

also, whats some good ammo. i know the grain shouldnt be on the light side b/c of the twist, but i am curious if there is some cheap heavy stuff at walmart or something

If you can shoot the rifle can hit a 12" plate at 600yrds. It will be more accurate than you. That rifle can shoot 55gr just fine as well as the heavy stuff.
