I've never used an intermediate barrel before but It says on their website:

The intermediate length gas system is in between mid and rifle length, such that a low profile gas block will be covered by a rifle length (12" or longer) forearm.


sounds like as long as you use a low pro GB that will fit under the Hogue tube you should be GTG.
