I'd say find someone near PI or MCRD SD and ask for a hookup.  I'll be back in Beaufort in a few months if you can wait for me to pick one up for you.  I got mine for 50 cents.

When I was at MCRD we called them "Sesame Street" towels. It is a cloth with all the AR 15 M16 parts on it so you lay the carrier in the carrier shape and so on.

I think its a way to try to dummy proof  weapons maintenance for recruits. so they don't lose the parts.  mickey mouse, sesame street, barney, whaterever.

Don't mention it.  I used to have a few of them, but I gave the extra's away at the range to fellow AR owners that had never seen them and wanted one.  1108 is November 8, 2000 when I finished the Crucible and became a Marine.  Good luck!

I still have one from the Army for the M60 (Uh Oh...is that showing my age?). We didn't get ones for the M16s?

I have seen these at a few gunshows too.

Good luck in your search.

guess thing have changed............ no mickey mouse towels in my time.

That's because they didn't need them when you were in....................... how many pieces did the Mk-I Stick break down into when properly field stripped?

Which was soon replace by the MK-I-PI (Product improved), SHAPRENED Stick.

I can't agree more. I need one of these for my bathroom.

I would love to see the looks on my friends faces when they finish washing their hands and reach for the 'towel'.
