I'm looking at the yankee hill folding front sight .  I can't find the spec for the intended barrel diameter.  Will this sight work for me.  I have a Model 1 Sales Hbar upper that steps down in diameter after the front sight base by about .030.  .725 is the final diameter.

I would think the YHM would be .750" as this seems to be the standard HBAR FSB inside diameter.  Are you sure you measured your barrel in the right place? or are you planning to mount the FSB further out on the barrel to use as a sight only?

I am planning to use the sight further out on the barrel because I'm going with a rifle length FF tube.  The place where the sight needs to be is .725.  I'm guessing I'm screwed on using this type of front sight.  Why would model 1 do something dumb like changing the barrel diameter???
