Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - .50BMG uppers

Hi all,

a friend of mine is looking at possibly building up a .50BMG rifle off an AR lower using an upper from BOHICA arms  could anyone with experience shed some light on this for him I don't have any expereice with this.

I've got a Bohica MKIII with 24" bbl sitting on a SMOS Rogue lower. Overall gun weight is about 25lbs, and recoil isn't bad. I'm using an Ace ARFX stock with a 1/2" recoil pad, which works nicely.
