Armalite, DPMS/Bushmaster/Remington, RRA are in my price range. Looking for accuracy and relibility just like everyone else. Fewer feed issues the better. Any suggestions?

Holy shit.
Op; please do a search. Google works well. Hell, there are two threads not far under this one asking near identical questions, notwithstanding that your q's are beyond vague. |

From your choices, I'd choose Armalite.

I just picked up a DPMS Panther LR-AP4, lots of fun, very accurate for a carbine, been putting lots of different rounds down range. You can pick one up new for under $1000
And Magpul makes reliable 20 round Pmags for about $18 |

I have had a DPMS carbine. Nice rifle. But I did not like the fact that the std. barrel was chrome molly not chrome lined. Also the factory mags were only 19 rds. The rifle was a mix of good and bad. The upper and lower was very well made. The std. Stock was junk. And I did not like there FF rail. I have a Armilite Ar10 now. And love it. Very well made. My DPMS was Pre. Magpull "P" mag. So that may be one thing in its favor. But for the money look at Armilite. Chrome lined barrels. The Gen II mags are great. And super strong. Lots of extras out there for it. Good luck!

Armalite is by far the best rifle in your price range.

Anything but Eagle, oh, I mean Armalite, unless you like "factory" rust on and in your rifle. Armalite is now just a name bought by Eagle. In your price range, the RRA or DPMS is good to go. Or save a little more and get the LMT or Larue PredatAR 308.

I recently bought one of the New Bushmaster (DPMS) ORCs. I like it allot! It comes with a Chrome lined barrel and chamber. I shoot as well or better (accuracy wise) than the two Armalites I owned. I like the fact that it takes the 308 pmags. It also has a mid length gas system.
I'm sure you can find it for a grand or less. |
