I just purchased 500 rounds of Federal 147 gr FMJ mil-spec from Sporstmans Guide.  Can anyone tell me where I can get ballistic information for THIS round.  I'm just not havving any luck.  All I can find charts for are 150 grainers.

The published charts are a good starting point but are not the gospel truth when it comes to ballistics.  The only way your rifle will shoot the same numbers as the charts is if variables such as barrel length and atmospheric conditions are the same as what you are shooting.  The 150 grain charts are probably close enough until you can get out and actually put some rounds down range at specified distances.

There are some ballistics calculators free online, but you have to know muzzle velocity along with barometric pressure, etc to come up with a table.

What you have is USGI M80 (seconds).  It's some of the best MBR ammo we can get.  So search for specs on M80.  Tada.
