Does Armalite (or anybody else) make a .243 upper for the AR-15?  Seems like I remember them doing just that, but their web site has no info on that particular caliber.

Anybody know or have one and care to comment on how you like it....???

TIA

ArmaLite makes the .243 upper for the AR-10 only. Like the .308, the .243 is too long to work with the standard AR-15.

Olympic Arms is in the final stages of developing a .243 and .223 WSSM upper.

Check it out.

Look under New on side column.

The WSSM in 223 and 243 look interesting. Ballistics in the 223 WSSM look equal to 22-250.

WOW and when I asked the guys doing the AR-10 conversions they said a .243 WSSM conversion of a AR-15 could not be done.

I thought that sounded stupid.
