69 gr Nosler HPBT loaded over 23.4 gr IMR 8208 and fired from 19.5" AR with Surefire FA556AR silencer into calibrated 10% gelatin.

Impact velocity: 2,743 fps
Penetration: 13.1"
Retained weight: 26.9 gr
Max expansion: 0.557"
Min expansion: 0.375"

I was curious about these.
How do they do at longer ranges / lower velocities?

Looks like it fragments as well as the 77 gr nosler cc

I load the 69 gr cc over a max charge of 26 gr varget and am getting velocities close to yours from a 16 in carbine.

I posted over there too, but this bullet is used in factory ammunition as well, so I thought it might be useful here, too.
