Absolutely.
I blew up one of Campybob's tannerite laced washing machines last bulletfest. It was the second round fired at it. It is amazing what aimed fired will do when everyone else is bumping off rounds. |

Doesn't it have to be high(>3000 fps) though? Will a 308 do it?

5.56 LC out of a 14" contender will set off tannerite no problem. What's really fun is to pop one with your AR at a local shooting pit and play it off as if you were hit with severe recoil when you fired it and the round did the explosion. I had a lot of oh my god what was that??? Funny shit.

I just received my case today. Can't wait to try it out. Dan is a great guy to deal with. I saw this stuff used last weekend at the quarry I shoot at. If ya got the extra money to blow on targets this is the stuff to get. I saw a video online where some guys put this stuff in some Beanie Babies. Funny stuff.
