I just bought a Trijicon TA01NSN, looks like it is calibrated for 62 grain ammo, all I can find locally is 55 grain, who makes and where can I get 62 grain FMJ?

Thanks, Nueboch

Don't worry about it. But if you need M855 ammo, try Ammoman or SportsmansGuide, they have some XM855. Hotshot SS109 is also good stuff.

Recommend you also consider FAE or Win 62gr. I've had great results accuracy-wise in my 1x9 with the Win, consistent quality and no issues after probably 3,000 rounds in 2 years. Try Natchez Shooting Supply, they usually have both.

HotShot can be found at Century Arms Intl, they're the USA importer.

Your scope is probably calibrated for M855 specifically, which is different than other 62 gr 5.56 ammo ballistically, IIRC (the 62gr M855 is longer than a regular 62gr bullet because part of its guts are made of steel, which is less dense). If you really want to buy ammo that matches the factory bullet drop on the scope, buy something that's M855-compatible. You can buy M855 made by IMI in Israel online through US distributors.
