you color in your safe/fire letters on your AR. I was kicking around the house today and decided to color my letters on my AR like many memebers here. At first I wasn't interested in doing it but then I had a 'brain fart'. I took some crayons and did it, it does look cool.

Were the crayons yours (kinda weird)......or your kids (dangerous)? I used my son's, and he's still not happy about it

I wanted to but my wife just had surgery, gotta take care of her, although she did tell me to go. Looks like it will be tomorrow.

I guess I am a poser too! After reading this thread I got a few of my sons crayons and gave it a try. It turned out pretty good. I am not sure how long it will last though. I had noticed the colored safe and fire engravings before and I wondered how they did it. Thanks too prisoner72's boredum I learned something. Ha ha ha

I can still take credit for the touch of "white out" on my front sight, I came up with that one all by myself.

My 1st grade arts and crafts teacher would be proud!
