I know what you mean the slots are lined up but the flats arent lined up left to right,I had a birdcage like that.I have the second model from Bushy 5 slots no closed bottom no sharp ends and that lined up perfect before permanently attaching.Thats good to know because I like the flats to line up.Brownells carries it also for like $22,I would call them and see if its a manufacturing mistake or machined that way.I once had a birdcage that was off like that.

Good No there isn't a "problem", and No the flats are not aligned vertically on any of the 100+ I have installed in the last few weeks.

I noticed the same thing with the one I have, with the ports aligned properly the flats are not. Those kind of things bug me too, but I'm trying not to be such a perfectionist.
 But the damn thing bothers me!
