I picked one up this weekend and the flat cuts for tightening it are not placed uniformly....

all the cut holes are correct but the tightening flats are not...

BUT the flats are about 1/4" off exact the absolut flat is between 1:00 and 2:00......

i was thinking of complaining to them about it but it's only a visual thing not a functioning thing...

***basically i have the flashhider placed "indexed" properly but the flats are not horizontel or verticle there crooked....

I know what you mean the slots are lined up but the flats arent lined up left to right,I had a birdcage like that.I have the second model from Bushy 5 slots no closed bottom no sharp ends and that lined up perfect before permanently attaching.Thats good to know because I like the flats to line up.Brownells carries it also for like $22,I would call them and see if its a manufacturing mistake or machined that way.I once had a birdcage that was off like that.

I noticed the same thing with the one I have, with the ports aligned properly the flats are not. Those kind of things bug me too, but I'm trying not to be such a perfectionist.

But the damn thing bothers me!
