I am toying with the idea of mounting an Aimpoint on my SEBR.  I would like to mount a CompM3 and then put on the 3x magnifier on a Samson Quick Flip mount.  My problem is that I would like to keep the stock handguards on the rifle.

So my question is would it be possible to put on a YHM Scout Rail Extension in order to give the room needed to mount both optics. Is this the intended use for the extension?  Also, the YHM extension raises the mounting surface by 1/2". Will this cause problems with the alignment of the magnifier and the M3?

Thanks for any insight,

Cavu
