brouhaha has all of the articles hosted on his website. A note about file sizes: Some articles had to be scanned grayscale, and the size ballooned up quite a bit. I tried scanning in B&W as much as possible, but some pages needed the detail of grayscale. JPG's would have been smaller, but I would have had individual files for all pages, and that was too much of a hassle for me.

The quality of the material varies. Some were original articles, other were copies made by Dr. Fackler before sending them on to me.

I can open the PDF fine, but the text is not so legible. I'm willing to transcribe one or two manually. It would also shrink the download for people with slow links.

By all means - please do so. I know that a couple of the articles aren't of the greatest quality, as they were poor copies to begin with. I *might* do some of the same things and re-scan the pictures, which would help. For the time being, most people can read them fine, so it's going to be a long-term project. If I were generating a PDF from a MS Word document, it would indeed be a lot smaller. I tried Adobe PageCapture, but that gave crappy results. I have Office XP Pro, and it comes with a OCR program also (and actually does a decent job), but it doesn't retain page layout.

If you have spare time on your hands and want to e-mail me the Word (or whatever) file, I'll scan the disagrams and inset them into the document. I'm sure most people would appreciate the smaller document size over retaining the original page layout.

Just wanted to thank you for putting up these links. Using the information here greatly helped me in dispelling A LOT of myths the guys at the dept. were hanging on to. After my lecture, they sure looked at their guns differently. But, I did have 1-2 guys that thought all of this was just a bunch of scientific BS and that they wouldn't listen to "lab geeks shooting at JELL-O." Hey, I tried...LOL.

The text is usually fine. I agree that the diagrams in some of them are very poor. Dr. Fackler sent me some originals, some copies. There wasn't a lot of care taken when they ran them through the copier. My originals aren't any better.

I recall reading that FN's new 5.7 SS197 40gr Vmax gives dramatic fragmentation along 12"+ of penetration.

Could be interesting with a 50 round P90 mag
