IOR's M2 4x24 Tactical scope

Would this be a good scope for 3 gun/tactical matches?

I am looking for a good but not expensive scope to get when I get back from the desert.

I don't know if they're suited for 3-gun competition, but they are pretty good scopes. One thing, though: The stated eye relief is somewhat misleading because the ocular lens is set into the scope almost an inch.

The 29' FOV is below average.

For range fun you are better off getting a Simmons 1.5-6x20 for $50 until you figure out what works best for you in actual match use.
