I took my 20" 6.5 Grendel out today for some 500 meter open sight plinking. I was given three boxes of Wolf Gold 120 grain hollow point ammo. I was very surprised how accurate it was.
My question is does anyone know what powder was used in the loading? Velocity? The fired brass shows far less pressure signs than my reloads using BL-C2. ( not max loads )
Thank you for any info.

The Wolf Gold 6.5mm Grendel 120gr. BTHP/OTM round is made by Prvi Partizan of Serbia (European), however,I am
not sure which powder they use for that round. I am Interested though to find out which powder they use as well.

The 6.5mm caliber is very popular in Europe though...I'll be using the very same 120gr. BTHP projectile for my
6.5mm PCC AR-15 variant next weekend, I'm glad its showing very good accuracy in the Grendel.

Hopefully I'll get similar results with my 6.5mm PCC round.

I'll see if I can get some more Info. on the powder they use.

I've run four boxes of Wolf Gold through my Grendel and had the same experience, accuracy exceeded expectations. Not bad at all for the cost.

Same. I was really surprised. I threw 7 rounds into a 3/4MOA group, with 3 more taking it out to just over 1MOA at 100yd. Very impressive for the "cheap stuff".

out of my 18" barrel, it chronographs about 2450fps. Out of a 20" barrel I would guess between 2450 and 2500fps.
