In reading the FAQ's the system revolved around which mags that you wanted to use.

The colt systems hold the bolt open vs. the oly did not, but has cheaper mags.

now that the mag proplems has fallen off of the table, which route is the best?

I am thing about seening if my local sherrif will sign off on a SBR

Thanks,

Badredfish

I havent seen the Colt mags fall far from the table yet.. keeping my fingers crossed.. I like the standard mag release, and bolt hold open enough to pay extra for mags..

I was interested in this as well. What would be a total out the door price for either system, if I got a lower and  was to build it as a kit?
I keep coming up in the 700 range for all the parts. Anyone know better?

I was thinking rra for one, but they only sell the upper. Still have to have  9mm lower.

The New Olympic GLock magazine system has last round open and uses any Glock 9mm (or .40S&W if you got tha upper).

Glock magazines are very cheap...

Just for the record, I have designed & made a one off block set for my Oly
that uses slightly modified Sten mags, & allows the use of the AR mag release.
No last round hold open, though. No permanent mods to the lower, which is all
stock .223. It has ran flawlessly for about 2 years.!
Let me know if you want details.

I just got me a RRA 9mm setup.  The BHO is KEY and mags are cheaper than you think.
Same mags as colt (modified uzis, right?)..... but cheaper.
