Using my Bushmaster 16", how many rounds can I expect to go through on average (standard FMJ, like UMC, Q3131A, XM193, surplus, whatever) before accuracy significantly degrades?

How fast its fired,heat these will be factors im sure.It depends on the abuse the barrel is subject to.

i have about 10-11k through my bm superlight cl bbl and have not notice any major problems with it.

Oh, sorry I forgot to explain what I meant. I meant without cleaning the bore.

As far as "how innaccurate" goes, I didn't really have anything in mind. Let's go with when the groups would double in size.

To my mind this brings up the question of chrome lined .30 caliber bores. When do they open up, on average? Certain weapon in particular, come to mind: AK, M14, FN SPR, MK48/M240B/H, M60, MK46/M249, etc.).
